GOMEZ – LEWANDOWSKI IS A WHOLE DIFFERENT KIND OF PLAYER
Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski is clearly one of the best players in his position and has been getting a lot of accolades for the achievements he has had in his career but according to the club’s former player, Mario Gomez, the Polish striker is not being talked about as much as he should.
His wishes did come to pass as he became even a more lethal frontman for Bayern, scoring a lot of goals, while also breaking and setting records as well. In the last couple of years, the Poland international striker has proven himself to be the best striker around and during his time as a Bayern Munich player, he has won every trophy there is to win at club level.
After helping Bayern to win the UEFA Champions League title, the German Bundesliga title, the German Super Cup title, as well as the FIFA Club World Cup title, he was awarded the FIFA Best Men’s Player Award – a personal gong he truly deserved.
He was also on fire for Bayern last season as he helped them to clinch another Bundesliga title and is already charging up to start the new season on a very high note as he wishes to help the Bavarians fight for another Champions League trophy. Former Bayern striker Mario Gomez has said that Lewandowski is the best striker in the world currently and although people talk about him a lot, he deserves to be talked about even more often because of his career exploits.
