Gomez Intends To Give His Best Next Season
Mario Gomez was left out of the 2014 FIFA World Cup after missing out the majority of the previous season with Fiorentina due to a knee injury he sustained and the manager of Germany, Joachim Low decided to not include him in his squad.
The Fiorentina player has revealed his intention of giving it his all in the upcoming season with the Italian club in the upcoming campaign which kicks-off in August: “Am I in shape? I am always in shape when I’m on holiday! Now I want to have a great season. Now we need to work and we will in order to do the best we can for this shirt. You can’t predict certain things. Now, my target is to get into top form for the start of next season in order to help my club reach our targets. In effect, I am a new signing for Fiorentina.”
After missing out from the majority of the previous season, Gomez wants to change things around and get back to his top form. Mario Gomez went on saying that since he has recovered from his knee injury, he will be like a new signing for the Italian club.
Gomez spent 3 seasons playing for Bayern Munich where managed on scoring over 70 goals during his time at the Allian Arena but after falling behind in the pecking order of the German team, he decided to make a move somewhere where his chances on appearing for the main team would be more guaranteed but it has not gone so well for him as he was plagued with a knee injury that kept him out of the playing grounds for the majority of the season.
